My journey as an artist has always been a path of healing and self-discovery. After a period of necessary silence to prioritize my mental health, I am now back with a renewed sense of purpose.

I have faced significant challenges, including severe anxiety and panic attacks, but these struggles have only deepened my connection to my craft. I have learned that taking care of one’s well-being is not a sign of weakness, but a foundation for true strength.

Today, I am returning to what I love most: painting and writing. This time, I will not be stopped. My art is no longer just a therapeutic tool; it is my voice, my rebellion, and my passion. Through my vibrant oil pastels , mixed media and my storytelling, I am reclaiming my narrative and inviting you to see the world through a lens of resilience, spiritual connection, and unyielding creativity.

Laura Bernardeschi Nelson: The Power of Resilience

Laura Bernardeschi Nelson is an artist whose work embodies transformation, resilience, and renewal. Following a successful career as a life model and actress in London and Bristol, she turned to painting and writing, discovering a creative voice that is both deeply personal and quietly powerful.

For Laura, the canvas is more than a surface—it is a space of reclamation. Her work emerges from lived experience, shaped by encounters with anxiety and mental health challenges that have ultimately deepened, rather than diminished, her artistic expression.
