Whispers of the Wild Path is my way of honouring those moments when the world falls away and only the hush of the forest remains. The winding path, softened by moss and memory, is a place I often return to in my mind—a space of stillness, where light sifts through leaves and wildflowers speak in sudden bursts of colour.
I created this piece using oil pastels, letting each layer blend like morning mist, with vivid reds and fresh greens blooming around the edges. The sky, a serene wash of turquoise and blue, suggests either the promise of a new day or the retreat of twilight. I like to leave that open—for you to decide.
