I began my career as a multidisciplinary artist in 2012, but it wasn’t until 2017 that I focused on painting, as I sought relief and peace during an abusive relationship. From that moment on, my passion for art grew tremendously. In my quest to share and sell my artwork, I joined several platforms. However, I had never considered Fine Art America until recently. I had assumed it was only for US-based artists. After some research, I discovered that the platform is open to artists worldwide, with equal promotion for everyone. This was exciting news because it provided me with another opportunity to promote my art.
Getting Started on Fine Art America

Once I created my profile on Fine Art America, the next step was to upload my images. I was pleased to learn that the platform accepts images at a resolution of 1080×1440 pixels, which still prints beautifully. I use a free photo editing website called PhotoScape to resize my images and prepare them for upload.
After uploading, my artwork is available on a variety of products, including tote bags, t-shirts, towels, canvas prints, and more. I have the option to set my prices, but I prefer to follow the pricing advice provided by Fine Art America’s experts. With high competition on the platform, it’s best to keep prices reasonable. For original canvas paintings, I can set my price, including shipping costs.
My Fine Art America Website
After just a few days on the platform, I noticed several visitors checking out my profile. At that point, I decided to upgrade to a yearly subscription, which allowed me to upload as many images as I wanted. To my surprise, Fine Art America created a personalised website for me with all of my uploaded artworks:
In just a few days, I had uploaded paintings, photos, and digital art, all neatly organised into collections to make it easier for potential buyers to explore my work.

To promote my art, I share my Fine Art America links on my social media channels, such as Twitter, YouTube, and my personal website, www.lauraartist68.uk. Within a week, my Fine Art America profile started appearing on Google searches, and I’m hoping that soon I’ll see my first sales.
A Supportive Community
One of the things I love most about Fine Art America is the sense of community. It feels like artists are supporting one another, without rivalry. It’s great to be part of such a positive and encouraging environment.
